Silk Thread- a poem

A silk web is delicate yet strong. Spider silk is extremely ductile, making it incredibly stretchy. This offers strength and flexibility, the perfect combination in life.

WE weave our lives with fine silk thread,

Yet stronger than steel wire.

Putting in our daily needs

And adding our desires.

MAKING, then our choices

And plans along the way.

Fragile still, as never are we

Guaranteed the day.

WE recreate what falls apart

In honor of our time,

And do our best to find ourselves

Along our daily climb.

AND then return with yet more thread

To weave the tapestry.

Repairing life and dreams again

Into reality.
