My Path- a poem

Today, as I begin my path,

With plans still on my mind,

Please help me find the doors to choose,

While leaving some behind.

For life is filled with comfort zones

Where I then settle in,

Surrounded by all that I know,

And places I have been.

But life will still surprise us all

With unexpected days.

Please guide my strength to carry on

And trust in all Your ways.

And help me see each day You give —

A new beginning view,

Embracing all that I so love,

And finding what is new.
