Moma’s Tree

Of all the trees I set out every year, this one holds a special meaning for me. This is the one I bought for Moma in the nursing home. Extra attention had to be put into it.The needles are plastic, so they wouldn’t be prickly for her. The ornaments are also plastic, so if they fell, they wouldn’t shatter. I tied them on rather than using wire hooks for safety. The lights are battery operated, and timer, so they would come on automatically for her.

It would be the last Christmas we spent together, December 2018. I’m not sure if she understood it was Christmastime, but she thought the lights were pretty, and that made my heart smile. ❤️ ❤️
