Mixed Media

Mixed media describes artwork where more than one medium or material has been used to create the piece. I have painted for years, but never with mixed media.

Above is a combined mixture of watercolor, both light and opaque, pencil with marker, ribbon, and clay. The concept was to have a black and white vase while the flowers pop with color.

If we could only embrace “mixed media” in our days more often, imagine what we could create in life.
