Patchwork of Life

Pre-Columbian Statue. Retm

Pre-Columbian Art. A statue my family and I visited while living in Colombia. It inspired me to draw the mystical beauty. What is its history? Who made it? What was the deeper meaning? Makes me wonder.

As we travel through life, we soak up our surroundings, and they become part of our history. Part of the fabric of our lives. Looking back on mine, it has been amazing. I am blessed to have had wonderful parents, deep-rooted friends and a husband who loved all of me. As I take this next path of time, I breathe in and smile while carrying my patchwork of life with me always.
