Colors- a poem

FOR many joys of my life,

That I keep ever near,

I close my eyes and see them all,

As each one still appears.

THE joys of my childhood,

Back when everything was new,

The pictures come into my mind

In shades of pink and blue.

AND as I grew into an age

That found me standing tall,

The colors in my life were bright,

With doors on every wall.

AND as my life is slower now,

With colors, softer shades,

Each day still brings such beauty found,

With memories being made.
