Nesting

I am excited to say that a pair of doves have chosen my porch to harbor their new babies this season. We have endless birds in our neighborhood. The house finch and sparrow, the crows and cardinals and, of course, the robin herself. Being near water, we have seagulls and, on occasion, the passing geese on their journey.

I have 5 birds of my own, as I have rescued birds over time. What a thrill to have them come here. It’s like I have been “accepted” into this new part of my journey. It feels good.
