Love begins with You- a poem

ONE day, God saw me crying

And asked the reason why.

I said, “for love is hard to find,

No matter how I try.”

“BUT love starts first within your heart,

You carry it inside.

And if you’re lucky, you will find

A love returned, besides.”

“FOR not all love comes as we feel,

As no two are the same.

So, cry not for yourself with this,

As you are not to blame.”

“YET, rather look inside your soul

And love who you’ve become.

Then reach for those around you still,

As you’re a special one.”
