Season’s Palette

The change of seasons. God’s pallet of colors. Winter white with a hint of blue. Spring yellows and crimsons. Summer lavenders and green. Then there is fall. There’s something about fall where the colors pop.

In New England, the weather report advises when “leaf peeping” is best for each region. People plan their vacations to drive the back roads and take in the brilliant golds and reds in contrast to the beautiful constant evergreens.

Along with the seasons, our life cycle evolves yearly as well. If we slow down a bit, we can learn the role it plays in our lives. As I get older, each one holds a special meaning.

They say time passes faster as you age. I realize that now. I choose to stay in the moment and find joy in every season of my life.
