Silent Whisper- a poem

IF he could, he’d be right by your side.

And if he could, he’d brace you from the tides.

If he could, he’d hold your hand and say,

The love you shared will never go away.

IF you listen close enough, you’ll hear

A silent whisper spoken in your ear.

The love remains, you share it every day.

You carry it for both now on your way.

HE sits beside you when he sees you cry.

He’s proud of you each time he sees you try.

And when he hears you laugh, he surely smiles.

He wants you happy in the coming miles.
