Bits & Pieces- a poem

A feeling and a moment’s thought,

I carry them with me.

For life is more than just right now

And what my eyes can see.

WE live our days as yet they come

But in our minds and heart,

We hold close times of yesterday,

Although we are apart.

AND as we live, we gather from

Each other person met,

Bits and pieces of ourselves

We hadn’t known quite yet.

SO, as we age, we then become

A combination of,

All the moments in our life,

And of the ones we love.
