Unspoken Words- a poem

I called on you this afternoon,

It seemed though you weren’t there.

For all the words I shared with you,

The answers came back bare.

I wandered round as if alone

In all my thoughts and pleas.

And in my mind, I couldn’t find

A way to feel at ease.

SO in despair, I headed home

Then, to my great surprise,

A double rainbow overhead

Was there before my eyes.

AND at that moment, I could see

The answers, though not heard,

Were shining in the sky above

Without even a word.
