God’s View- a poem

TODAY I started down a road

To see where it might lead.

And quite to my delight, I found

Yet something that I need.

FOR there, before my eyes, I saw

The most majestic trees,

And as I sat there underneath

I dreamt of what I please.

I dreamt of kindness given out

To everyone you see.

And love surrounding each of us,

No matter who we be.

AND strength for each and pride within

The person who we are.

And knowing we make differences,

No matter, near or far.

I woke, and then soon realized

I dreamt again Your view.

And on my journey, in my mind,

You’ll always bring us through.
