The Journey- a poem

“THE journey that you take becomes

A part of who you are.”

Words of wisdom shared in life,

But doors are still ajar.

FOR there is truth in these few words,

As some of what we live,

Will lead us down a path of life

To learn, and to forgive.

TO learn which door to enter through

Or which to leave behind.

For sometimes it is wiser still

To search for more to find.

FORGIVENESS comes with time, you’ll see,

As all throughout your day,

You’ll find the need to “let it go”

And carry on your way.

“THE journey that you take becomes,”

Your life, your legacy.

Embrace each day and, on your way,

Find doors to set you free.
