Sunrise…a poem

Sunrise…

TODAY I  asked how many times

A heart can bear to break.

And in reply, a friend then said,

“How many times it takes.”

FOR life is empty without love,

Someone to share your days.

And yet with love, there is the time,

That they must go away.

THE more you love, the more you hurt,

Of this, I know is true.

But what is life without the love

Of someone who loves you.
