“A God Thing”

My cousin had the most precious enthusiasm for life. She would tell me everything of her day and become childlike when sharing what she called “a God thing.”

A God thing was something that would happen to bring joy or peace to someone or something. It amazed her when these “gifts” of joy entered her day. My husband and I would sit and listen to her sharing on the phone. Her excitement was contagious.

We should all look for the “God things” in our lives. You can’t help but smile.
