Always keep it Real- a poem

WHY is life so complicated,

Each and every turn?

Why do we repeat mistakes

Even when we learn?

SURELY, we should slow it down

And breathe along the way.

Even try to listen more

And have much less to say.

BUT we are human after all

And need to realize,

Our strengths, along with weaknesses

Are part of being wise.

FOR strengths will bring us to our goals

And keep us grounded still.

Yet weaknesses can teach us things

And always keep us real.
