This Day- a poem

I wake today with thoughts abound,

And all are in the mix.

I know there are so many things

In life that I should fix.

YET for today, I want to see

What life is all about.

To view the corners of my world,

Forgetting all the doubt.

SO many times we step aside

In life- for as it comes,

Our plans are on a different goal

While hearing our own drums.

THIS day I’ll dance to sounds of breeze,

And let it take me where

The sunlight will fall on my face

And start my journey there.
