One sided conversation- a poem

The longer the time gone by, the heavier the unspoken words of one-sided conversations I now share-alone.

“How was your day? Have you found a reason to smile?” You would reply with a fractured fairytale of old memories blended with moments of today. This was good.

Time would pass and words became mixed with anger. Anger of confusion and despair. This was not good.

Now I am sure your conversations are endless, as I imagine you smiling all day. And my words of a one-sided conversation are only lighter from the radiant smile I see on your face.
