Embrace each Stage- a poem

FUNNY, life, as it is-

The way we’re meant to live-

The early years of learning while we’re young.

For as we grow, we learn still more

With questions on our mind,

And dreams of songs we hear but have not sung.

IN time, we reach our stride and then

We feel more in control.

Accomplishments are added to our list.

Yet at this stage we scurry on

While turning every stone

And chase the things we are afraid we missed.

THEN, one day we look around

And see our life matured.

We sit back and we find ourselves the shade.

Some might say this time is best,

For now we can be proud

And spend our days embracing what we’ve made.
