Light and Darkness- a poem

EMBRACE your life, both light and dark,

In order to survive.

For both will be a part of days,

No matter how you strive.

IN happy times, when life is good,

The sun is all around.

And listen well enough, you’ll hear,

The angel’s song and sound.

BUT when the darkness settles in,

The angels are still there.

They’ll lift you up and hold your hand

When times are hard to bear.

FOR walking through the darker days

Will bring you to the light.

Reminding you of blessings still,

Right there before your sight.
