Forever- a poem

HOW long is forever?

As far as you can see?

Does it bend around the turn

And flow then into the sea?

DOES it end when something’s gone

Or is simply out of sight?

Or does forever carry on

And then, with wings, take flight?

I carry my forever with me

Always in my heart.

In this way I feel that we

Are never far apart.
