Remember Today- a poem

A friend asked how I was today,

and in my long reply,

We shared all of our future plans,

And then we said goodbye.

SOME time went on, and yet again,

They asked about my day.

We reminisced over the past,

And had so much to say.

AND then one day we realized

The part of life we missed.

The moment of yet every day~

We failed to see exist.

TOMORROW and all yesterdays

In life are always key.

But live today and find a way

To breathe and simply be.
