Life’s Visit- a poem

TODAY I sat among the things

That interrupt my life.

I took the time, and closer look,

To recognize their strife.

THE cause behind the feeling found,

That makes me feel unease.

The reason I allow it then to

Bring me to my knees.

FUNNY, if you visit with

The words that fill your mind,

Quite often, you might see that you

Can leave some far behind.

THEN carry on with life each day,

And as it comes to you,

Embrace the moments and the times

That bring life back in view.
