Reflections of Life- a poem

REFLECTIONS of my days are seen,

When I close my eyes.

The colors of a rainbow blending

Clear across the skies.

A ripple in the water when

The wind comes gently through.

The way they travel farther out

Upon the waters hue.

THE tall, majestic trees that stand,

Have lived for many years.

Where loved ones might have shared a smile,

Or comforted their tears.

AND as the sunset settles in,

Caressing now the day,

Gather all and keep it close

To reminisce someday.
