I Sing of Poesies…

and of the flowers, too. ❤️

- a poem

Photos by Bestie, Debbie

ONE day, my loved one asked of me,

When I would sing anew.

Now I sing of poesies and

Of all the flowers, too.

FOR flowers look up toward the light,

Embracing when it rains.

They sway in breezes, bobbing heads,

As if it’s all for play.

THEIR colors and their fragrances

Attract the butterflies.

And if you listen close enough,

You’ll hear them speak so wise.

AND so I write my poetry,

My poesies of my days.

Of life and love and time gone by,

And flowers ‘long the way.
