I Believe

My first Christmas without John was unnerving. Ironically, our favorite holiday was Christmas. After the sadness flooded over me, the following year I felt the need to visit every one of our Christmas decorations and make a display for us to share.

I went online and bought the Polar express bell ornament dated 2020, the year he passed. I hung it on my porch for him to “see”, as a reminder to him that I believe. I believe he is happy and among loved ones, while his presence is still with me.

I leave it hanging on my porch year round, so he never forgets~ I believe.
