This house Believes

The sunflower is in honor of my mom. She used to hang this plaque in her house year-round. Her dementia was such that she didn’t understand what it meant and would often ask me to explain it. I would respond that her house believed in God and goodness. That made her happy, and she would smile.

This became part of our daily conversation as time went on. I hang the plaque in my apartment year round now as well to remind me of God and goodness ~ and Moma. ❤️🌻
