Shadows and Light- a poem

Forest River Park Salem, MA

WHEN we see shadows closely by,

Then, too, there must be light.

For one without the other

Would be day without the night.

AND have you noticed in a day,

When the sun is shining bright,

That if the sky is clear enough,

The moon still thinks it’s night.

DON’T pass by shadows in your life,

As they will always be

The promise of the light still there

That you have yet to see.
