A Moment in Time- a poem

As I sit overlooking the ocean, I watch the wind dance on the water’s surface.

Swirling playfully, the waves swell and crash against the sandy shore, only to become part of the shoreline as they seem to melt into the sand.

All that effort and work from the wind and water- to the swelling of the wave and the white silky foam, over in a matter of moments.

But oh, how beautiful while it lasts.
