Signs- a poem

TODAY I looked up at the sky

And wondered where you were.

I asked if God could show a sign

So I could be assured.

AND soon I felt the breeze against

My face-yet there’s no wind.

A bird began to sing a song

That seemed to never end.

THE sun was out; the sky was clear,

Still then, there was a shower.

And suddenly, I felt in awe

Of all the earthly power.

FOR sometimes we forget to see

That we are not alone.

But rather, we’re surrounded with

Our loved ones here at home.
