I Close my Eyes- a poem

I close my eyes and I can see

More clearly than before,

That life can be a blur at times.

You’ll tire to your core. 

THE only way to get from here

To meet the other side,

Is find the strength to manage through

And learn to ride the tide. 

BUT once you see your goal in sight

It will be all worthwhile,

For then you can sit back a bit 

With open eyes and smile.
