My plea …

I woke today with heart in hand,

For sometimes I don’t understand

The hours as they come each day.

Please help me now to find my way.

God’s reply …

Just know that it’s alright to feel

When overwhelming life is real.

The struggles that you face today,

Will leave you with no words to say.

But always still remember this,

However much you hurt or miss,

Your heartbeat echoes up above,

And spreads the warmth then of your love.
