Ebb and Flow- a poem

I walked beside the water’s edge,

The waves would ebb and flow.

While rearranging bits of sand,

And shifting ground below.

THOUGH, on the surface, it appeared

So ever slightly changed,

The many grains of sand it touched

Were fully rearranged.

AND so is life, for as a whole,

It may look quite untouched.

Yet, gentle changes that appear

Can make it change so much.

BE mindful of life’s ebb and flow,

Take notice every day.

Embrace the change and rearrange,

Then walk along the bay.
