Mind and Heart- a poem

DECISIONS, what to make of them?

Sometimes they drive us mad.

We think and plan and think again,

Becoming tired and sad.

THE weight, it lies upon us so,

To make the perfect choice.

Our mind directs us most the time,

But then we hear heart’s voice.

THE voice we long to hold so dear

And carry through our day,

Only then to realize

There is a different way.

PLEASE help my mind and heart align

And lead me on my walk.

And help me listen clearly as

My mind and heart both talk.
