Dancing Arm in Arm- a poem

As you walk among the trees

The sunlight trickles down.

Yet dancing in between the light,

Are shadows on the ground.

For sunlight and the shadows dance—

Together, arm in arm.

For one would not exist without

The other’s warmth and charm.

While shadows have their beauty still —

For with their sight you see,

The silhouette of life around

And all there is to be.
