Human- a poem

A perfect spot to sit and share.

Sharing emotions validates us.

Realizing those emotions are felt by others, empowers us.

In unity, there is strength.

I question much more than I should.

I reach for where I’ve been.

Sometimes my mind it- scatters round,

Ah yes, I am human.

MY moods can change upon a dime, and

Chocolate is my friend.

I love to watch the old reruns

Although I know the end.

I shared my feelings with a friend

Who listened close and then,

Reminded me to understand

That I am just human.
