Accepting- a poem

I look and view the sites I’ve seen

So many times before.

Only something’s different now,

As I can see much more.

I don’t believe the scene has changed-

But rather that it’s me.

For, as we age and wisdom comes,

There’s so much more to see.

I now look deeper than before,

Embracing each new day.

More settled and accepting of

The life that comes my way.
