Water and Sand- a poem

DON’T try to keep your feelings out,

But rather, close at hand.

Both happy and the sad ones

Are like water and the sand.

AS every ocean known to us,

The sand is filled beneath.

For where would water rest itself

If not for land’s relief.

AND so, emotions are the same,

Though some will make us cry.

But with the joyous ones you’ll find,

It’s those that make us fly.
