WITH each step, I look around

And still, I see you there.

But now, I smile in memory

Instead of in despair.

FOR memories of days gone by

Are what I have, it’s true.

Though, there is so much more I am,

That is because of you.

THE years we shared and times we laughed,

Are all a part of me.

Even times we cried out loud,

Were part of life, you see.

SO many memories in my mind,

Where to even start?

While feelings and emotions are

Deep down inside my heart.
