I thank You- a poem

I thank You for my day today,

And all within its hours.

The sun, as it was shining through,

The rain and gentle showers.

I thank You for the lessons learned,

Along my path of life.

For living is a multitude

Of happiness and strife.

AND most of all, I’m grateful for

Your loving company.

And it’s my wish for all my days,

That You will walk with me.
