In Prayer- a poem

AND so the day brought with itself,

Yet more for me to hold.

And as I carry, I recall

The words that I’ve been told.

“FOR He will never place upon you

More than you can bare,

And strength will come to those who trust,

And close their eyes in prayer.”

AND so I close my eyes and breathe,

Then walk along my way.

And with each step I move ahead,

I find strength through the day.
