Return to You- a poem
WHEN the winds are blowing strong,
And rain stings on your face,
With darkness hovering over you,
Trying to erase.
ERASE the moments that it steals
From yet your time today,
Leaving you down on your knees
With little left to say.
THE struggling then becomes so real,
Almost too much to bear,
And breathing is a hardship, though
You can still feel the air.
REACH deep inside into your soul,
Into your very heart,
And know that this is still your life~
Don’t let it fall apart.
FOR deep within there is a place
That is yours all alone.
And though you share your life each day,
Your heart is still your home.
SO let your loved ones come and spend
Some time along their way.
But as you close your eyes at night,
Return to you and pray.
