Grateful- a poem

I’M grateful for enough today,

Enough to get me through.

To fill my life with comfort and

Prepare for what to do.

SOME think that more is always best.

It isn’t really so.

Find happiness in what you have,

Then watch your joy grow.

BE happy with the simple things,

As they will make you laugh.

Embrace the winds you face each day,

Adjust your sail and path.

FOR it is easier to climb

The hills- still yet to come,

If we are free of burdens

As we welcome morning sun.
