Miles of Time- a poem

ONE day, I asked my dearest friend,
To reminisce with me.
So through the many miles of time,
We searched each path to see.
AND all the happy memories
Brought joy to our eyes.
But then there were the harder times
That made us more the wise.
THEN after all the journeying,
And sharing all the smiles,
We realized it led us here
For all the coming miles.
