Long for Enough- a poem

Some in life long for the most,

In everything they do.

There’s always something better still,

That’s just beyond their view.

THEY hurry on their daily lives

With one true goal in sight.

That golden ring beyond their grasp,

They reach for with their might.

WHILE I long to have just enough,

Enough to get me through.

Leaving time to then see life,

Enjoying the view.

Moma always said to me, “Wish for just enough. For if you always have enough, you’ll have it all.”
