I wonder Why- a poem

A mockingbird with grace is perched

Atop a winter tree.

He sings his song as he looks up

As far as he can see.

HE takes what life has given him

And makes it work somehow.

The winter days and summer shade

And rainy winds that howl.

I wonder why we as a whole,

Complain most every day.

When nature finds sweet joy in life,

And sings along their way.
