Stand Still- a poem

YOU’LL find in life there will be times

When standing still is good.

A quiet place to reach inside,

Can be misunderstood.

WHILE time is always rushing by,

To greet tomorrow now,

Take pause and step aside a bit.

Peace comes if you allow.

REACH deep inside your inner thoughts,

And soon you’ll clearly see,

That while you visit with yourself,

You are good company.
