Anchor

I wake and feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. Stop a moment and breathe. I look around me. I look in the mirror. That is my world.

With life as complicated as it has become, we have a tendency to absorb negativity as a natural part of our day. Pull back and focus on your world and choices you can bring to the table.

I have had to adopt this way of thinking with my losses of Moma and John. Walls came crashing in with a flood of life that followed.

Rebuild your surroundings, not to keep others out, but to keep yourself intact. Lean into your faith and friends. You are your anchor.
